Hockey can undoubtedly be classified as one of PRG’s most successful sports. The dramatic growth in interest and the quality of results of the past few years have been phenomenal. With the two Astro’s of the Stellenbosch University just a stone’s throw from the school, and with excellent coaches for each of the 18 teams, there is simply no stopping the growth of hockey at PRG.

Geen skool in die Wes-Kaap kan by PRG kers vashou as dit kom by geheelskool-diepte in hokkie nie. Twee oud-Paul Roosers het in 2011 vir die SA Mansspan gespeel, drie van die 32 lede van die nuutverkose SA O/21 oefengroep het in PRG se banke gesit en provinsiale spelers stroom uit die skool.
